Shanghai Zhongsu Pipe Co., Ltd., one of China's established PPR Elbow Manufacturers, produces PPR ELBOW fittings as part of a complete polypropylene random copolymer piping system. ZHSU was established in 2004 in Jinshan District, Shanghai, with a 70,000 m² production area and a CNAS-certified national laboratory. 90° Elbow
The standard right-angle fitting for riser-to-branch transitions, wall entries and manifold connections in water supply and heating circuits.
45° Elbow
Used where a gentler change of direction reduces pressure loss or eases alignment in long horizontal runs and buried distribution lines.
Reducing Elbow
Combines a direction change with a diameter reduction, removing a separate reducer at branch take-offs and compacting the installed assembly.
Threaded Elbows
Female and male threaded versions connect PPR pipework to metal valves, pumps, meters and sanitary fixtures without an additional adapter.
Duplex Female Elbow
A double female outlet fitting for paired fixture connections and compact wall-mounted installations where two take-offs share one pipe end.

Material and Dimensional Control
PPR elbows are moulded from polypropylene random copolymer, a material chosen for hot water service because it resists scale build-up, corrosion and electrochemical attack. Wall thickness, socket depth and bore concentricity determine whether a fusion joint holds, so these are the dimensions we control most closely.
- Raw material received from Borealis and South Korean suppliers, with incoming inspection before moulding.
- Socket and spigot dimensions held to the nominal size so that heating time and insertion depth are predictable on site.
- Threaded inserts moulded into the body, with thread form checked against the mating metal component.
- Batch sampling in our CNAS-certified laboratory, plus in-process checks at fixed intervals during production.
Fittings are packed in transparent plastic bags in counted quantities and then into dedicated cartons, which keeps the sockets clean and the quantities verifiable on arrival — the level of control expected from a Custom 1/2" 3/4" PPR Elbow Factory.
Sizes, Grades and Configuration Options
Our elbow programme follows the PPR pipe sizes we produce, with the common 20 mm, 25 mm and 32 mm sizes used in building services and larger sizes for plant rooms and distribution mains. As a Custom 1/2" 3/4" PPR Elbow Factory, threaded variants are supplied with the thread standard required by the project.

Elbows are used together with PPR COUPLING, PPR TEE and PPR VALVES to complete a distribution network, and the full fitting family is listed under PPR FITTING.
Installation, Testing and Acceptance
PPR elbows join to pipe by heated socket fusion. The joint quality depends on the fusion tool temperature, heating time and insertion depth being matched to the pipe diameter, and on the fitting and pipe being held still while the joint cools. We supply the fittings with consistent socket geometry so that these parameters stay repeatable across a large installation.
- Pressure test the completed line before concealment; leave threaded joints accessible where the project allows.
- Support horizontal runs at intervals suited to the pipe diameter to limit sag and stress at elbows.
- Use thread sealant compatible with potable water on threaded elbows, and avoid over-torque on the moulded insert.
- Protect exposed PPR runs from prolonged direct UV where the installation is outdoors.

Regular pipe and fitting items are held in stock, so there is no minimum order quantity on standard fittings. Delivery is typically 15 days and is confirmed against the order list and current production schedule.
Supply, Documentation and After-Sales Support
PPR elbows ship with the pipe and other fittings from the same production system, which keeps material grade and dimensions consistent across a project. We confirm the order, then share production progress and photos at intervals of two to five days, and video checks of the production process can be arranged.
Samples are available; the sample itself is free and only the freight is charged, refundable against a bulk order. If a quality issue appears after delivery, we review it with you and agree a resolution. Our product warranty period is 50 years under the stated service conditions.
