Shanghai Zhongsu Pipe Co., Ltd. manufactures PPR PIPE FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE WATER for hot water supply, central heating and industrial process lines. Our high-temperature range covers Beta PPR and PP-RCT pipes engineered to handle water up to 95°C (203°F), supported by a full family of matching PP-R and PP-RCT fittings.
Founded in 2004 in Jinshan District, Shanghai, ZHSU operates a 70,000 m² production site with imported production and testing equipment, a CNAS-certified national laboratory, and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems. As one of the region's established Hot Water PPR Pipe Suppliers, we supply project quantities to distributors, contractors and engineering teams worldwide.
Our High-Temperature PPR Pipe Range
The high-temperature water range is built around two material routes. Beta PPR uses a modified random copolymer structure for improved heat resistance, while PP-RCT (polypropylene random copolymer with modified crystallinity) delivers higher long-term strength at elevated temperatures. Both are produced from 100% imported raw materials sourced from Borealis and South Korea.
PPRCT Pipe
Our PP-RCT route for demanding hot water and heating circuits. Higher crystallinity supports greater pressure resistance at high temperature, making it suitable for central heating risers, plant rooms and industrial hot water distribution.
Beta PPR Pipe
Beta PPR pipes are formulated for continuous hot water service. They resist heat ageing and internal pressure creep in domestic hot water, hotel and hospital systems where long service life matters.
For cold and general water supply lines, our PPR PIPE FOR WATER SUPPLY range covers single-layer, double-layer and antibacterial constructions. The complete PPR PIPE family shares the same raw material policy and quality control, so hot and cold lines can be specified from one source.
Where High-Temperature PPR Pipe Fits
High-temperature PPR is selected where metal pipe would corrode, scale or lose heat, and where a fully plastic, fusion-welded system reduces leak paths. Typical applications include:
- Domestic hot water supply in residential, hotel and hospital buildings
- Central heating and district heating secondary circuits
- Industrial hot water distribution, washing and process lines
- Solar hot water and heat pump systems
- Laboratory and institutional hot water networks
Because the pipe is corrosion-free and does not support galvanic reactions, it is also used where water quality is aggressive or where long maintenance intervals are required.
Material and Construction Options
| Option | Material / Structure | Typical Fit |
|---|---|---|
| PP-RCT pipe | Modified crystallinity random copolymer | High-temperature hot water, central heating, industrial lines |
| Beta PPR pipe | Beta-nucleated random copolymer | Continuous domestic hot water, hospitality and healthcare |
| Single-layer PPR | Homogeneous PPR wall | General hot and cold water where UV exposure is controlled |
| Double-layer PPR | Inner and outer layers with light-blocking outer skin | Hot water lines where algae growth and UV protection are concerns |
| Antibacterial PPR | PPR with antibacterial inner layer | Potable hot water in hospitals, schools and food facilities |
Pipe diameters, wall thickness and pressure classes are matched to the working temperature, design pressure and service life required. Our technical team confirms the SDR and pressure rating against the project working point rather than applying a single default.
Fittings and System Components
A high-temperature line is only as reliable as its joints. We supply a complete PPR FITTING range in PP-R and PP-RCT materials, including couplings, elbows, tees, unions and valves. All are designed for heat fusion welding, producing homogeneous joints with no gaskets or metal inserts in the flow path.
- Couplings for straight runs and diameter transitions
- Elbows for direction changes in risers and plant rooms
- Tees for branch connections and distribution headers
- Unions and valves for isolation and maintenance access
- Threaded adapters for transition to metal equipment
Fittings are packed in transparent plastic bags and dedicated cartons; pipes are bundled in woven bags for transport protection.
Quality Control and Acceptance
ZHSU operates a CNAS-certified national laboratory and applies full-process monitoring from raw material procurement to finished product delivery. Every batch is sampled and tested, with in-process inspections at regular intervals during production. Our quality inspection department performs checks at different stages to confirm dimensions, appearance and material performance.
Management system certificates include ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, and CE certification is available. Factory inspection reports can be provided as quality assurance documentation. For projects requiring third-party verification, we coordinate sampling and testing arrangements with the customer's nominated agency.
Installation and System Integration
PPR systems are installed by heat fusion welding using socket fusion tools. Correct welding temperature, heating time and insertion depth are critical to joint integrity, particularly on high-temperature lines where thermal expansion is greater. We provide welding parameters and installation guidance with each order.
Thermal expansion should be accommodated through expansion loops, anchors and sliding supports. Pipe supports and spacing are selected according to diameter and operating temperature. Where pipes run outdoors or in exposed locations, UV protection or a light-blocking outer layer is recommended.
For connection to boilers, pumps, valves and metal pipework, threaded or flanged transition fittings are used. Our technical team can review the interface points and confirm the transition components required.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
To prepare an accurate proposal, we work from the project working conditions and the bill of materials. The following inputs allow us to confirm material grade, pressure class, diameters and fitting schedule:
| Input | Why We Need It |
|---|---|
| Working temperature and design pressure | Determines material grade, wall thickness and pressure class |
| Pipe diameters and total lengths | Sets production schedule and packing configuration |
| Fitting list and quantities | Confirms the complete bill of materials for the line |
| Water quality and application | Indicates whether antibacterial or double-layer construction is appropriate |
| Installation environment | Identifies UV exposure, indoor or outdoor routing and support needs |
| Trade terms and destination | Used to prepare FOB, CIF, CNF or other quotation terms |
An order list and the required trade terms are sufficient for us to issue a quotation. For custom requirements, OEM and ODM support is available.
Supply, Delivery and Service
Our monthly supply capacity reaches dozens of full containers. Regular pipes and fittings are held in stock, so there is no minimum order quantity for standard items; MOQ applies to specific sizes, such as 5000 meters for 20 mm pipe and 300 meters for 160 mm pipe. Typical delivery time is 15 days, confirmed against the order list and current production schedule.
We accept T/T and L/C payment. For mass production, terms are typically 30% advance payment with the balance against the bill of lading. Production progress is shared with photos every 2–5 days, and video inspection can be arranged on request. Samples are available free of charge, with freight refundable after a bulk order.
Products carry a 50-year warranty period. After-sales support is handled directly by our team, and any issue after receipt is discussed and resolved with the customer.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum temperature for your high-temperature PPR pipe?
Our Beta PPR and PP-RCT pipes are designed to handle water up to 95°C (203°F). The allowable continuous working pressure depends on temperature, diameter and wall thickness, so we confirm the pressure class against your specific working point.
Which material should I choose for central heating?
PP-RCT is generally selected for central heating and higher-pressure hot water circuits because its modified crystallinity provides greater long-term strength at elevated temperatures. Beta PPR is well suited to continuous domestic hot water service. We review the temperature and pressure profile before recommending a grade.
Do you supply matching fittings for hot water lines?
Yes. We manufacture PP-R and PP-RCT fittings including couplings, elbows, tees, unions and valves, all designed for heat fusion welding. This allows a complete hot water system to be supplied from one source with consistent material and quality control.
What quality documentation is available?
We hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificates and CE certification. A CNAS-certified national laboratory supports our testing programme, and factory inspection reports can be provided. Every batch undergoes sampling tests, with in-process inspections during production.
What is the minimum order quantity and delivery time?
Standard pipes and fittings are stocked with no MOQ. Size-specific MOQ applies, for example 5000 meters for 20 mm pipe and 300 meters for 160 mm pipe. Typical delivery is 15 days, confirmed against the order list and production schedule.
